Representation in Conservation
"Representation in Conservation" is the first conversation in a series in partnership with the Alaska Center about representation; questions on leadership, equity, and inclusion. The Alaska Center is a nonprofit organization that engages, empowers, and elects Alaskans to stand up for our clean air and water, healthy communities, and a strong democracy.
This series is a part of the national "Why It Matters: Civic and Electoral Participation" initiative, administered by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Alaska Humanities Forum has supported a series of events and activities around voting, engagement, and democracy to strengthen civic connection and participation throughout Alaska.
